I highly recommend this company! Everyone was wonderful...very nice and helpful. I am about the least trusting person I know and when I had to move I had a horrible time choosing a moving company. After alot of research and procrastination I chose Allen's and it was the best choice I could have made. They got me an appt very quickly and they went above and beyond to get me moved...way more than I even expected. They were focused and busted butt for the entire time and at the same time made a not so fun thing so much more bearable...I hesitate to say fun but we did laugh some. Thanks guys! Everything arrived at my new place perfectly and I had some super fragile stuff. I'm impressed.

My husband and I recently moved cross country with Allen’s Moving and Storage. The whole team was efficient, professional and helpful from our first encounter with their intake person to the packers, drivers and actual moving people. They were efficient in how they packed our belongings, including pictures and lamps, and loaded them on the moving truck. The off-loading of our belongings at the end destination was done quickly and efficiently with great cheerfulness as well as politeness. The team leader and moving truck driver was especially organized and professional. It was an overall low-stress experience.

We recently moved from Pennsylvania to Maine back in November and had to have the entire contents of our old house put in storage in Saco for the past few months while we found a new permanent home here. The entire team at Allen's has been extremely helpful in making our move as smooth as possible and helped us figure things out along the way. Just yesterday we had Curtis and Ahmed move everything out of storage into our new home and those two guys could not have been more professional, cheerful and pleasant to work with. They took care of every request we had and were careful with our belongings. I would not hesitate to use Allen's again in the future (although I think I'm done moving around for the time being ).

Using Allen's Moving and Storage is a true "5-Star" experience. I used them to both facilitate a traditional move from the West Coast to the East Coast as well as to move all my furnishings out of my Maine camp in preparation for an extensive remodel -- storing all items at their site, receiving new pieces of furniture and art as well. Allen’s Moving and Storage personnel were so helpful and prompt with getting me estimates and scheduling when I was breaking down a household after my mother’s death. We had multiple destinations and they even took furniture that we wanted to donate to the agency they work with. All in all they made my work less stressful. And everything arrived in good shape - they even sen a crew back out to move a large piece of furniture up stairs when they didn’t have the manpower in the group that delivered it. So great!

Great moving crew, quick and well packed including excellent protection of some challenging large pictures. Overall experience a bit less than five stars because there was some confusion and miscommunication about what was getting moved when, which led to a disjointed move that ended up taking four days rather than the expected one day.

I needed to have a precious piano moved from Augusta, Maine to Tolland, Connecticut. I had one small problem, I needed to store the piano for 2 months in a safe climate controlled area before having it delivered to CT. I contacted Allen's Moving and Storage in Augusta, ME. They were polite, courteous and very understanding of my situation. They were able secure the piano from one location, store the piano for two months and deliver the piano when the time was right. The cost was very reasonable for the task. I would hire them again for anything I need to have moved. They're a great company.

We used Allen's Moving and Storage twice in the past seven months. We had to quickly move all our belongings out of our home because of a flood. Allen's was awesome from the get-go. All the employees we worked with were helpful and responsive- from the coordinating of the move to the packing up and moving out- every person worked hard. We stored all our furniture and personal property for five months while our home was repaired. When we moved back in, Allen's was able to accommodate our date and the move back in was just as smooth. Tyler and his team were excellent to work with and I highly recommend this moving and storage company. We had a great experience.
