Allen's Transfer & Storage, Inc. operates out of the basement of a five-floor building on Willow Street in Augusta, Maine with 12 employees, a half-dozen trucks and a couple of tractor-trailers for household relocations.

1978
In September 1978, the company moves to a newly constructed facility on Civic Center Drive in Augusta, Maine. This facility was designed to accommodate all phases of the household moving and storage business, including a 17,000-sq.ft. storage area.

1981
The company adds 7,000-sq.ft to the existing 17,000-sq.ft. household facility at Civic
Center Drive in Augusta, Maine.

1987
In September, another 17,000-sq.ft. is added to the 24,000-sq.ft. household facility on Civic Center Drive in Augusta, Maine.

1998
In September, an addition is made to the household division at 168 West Street in Biddeford, Maine, Allen's Transfer & Storage, Inc.

1999
In November, an addition is made to the household division at 3 Karen Drive in Westbrook, Maine, Allen's Transfer & Storage, Inc..

May, two additions are made to the household division; one at 3197 Odlin Road in Bangor, Maine, Allen'sTransfer & Storage, Inc., and another at 81 Leighton Road in Augusta, Maine.
